I will be spending Thanksgiving in my hotel room. This is not nearly as sad as it sounds as I've never celebrated Thanksgiving before so I'm not entirely aware that I'm missing anything. The streets are pretty empty and I will grab my iPod and go for a walk later.

I am alone in the apartment with coffee and paint. I'm going to paint a tree on my wall. I'm happy to be spending the "holiday" like this. (I rode my bike to the grocery store earlier and the road was very empty. That was nice too.)

I'd paint a tree on the wall here too but I imagine housekeeping would be upset.

We shall have a solitary thanksgiving together then :)
